We all have those times where we get bored and don’t know what to do with ourselves. Some of us may use that time to do something negative. Others may use that time to be productive. We should always want to do something productive in order for us to build better lives for ourselves. One way to do that is by killing boredom dead! July is National Anti- Boredom Month. Here are 5 ways to kill boredom.

1. Read Comics!

I recommend the comics on Webtoon. I’ve spent countless hours on this site reading comics because they’re so good.

2. Play “Uncommon Questions

Use this activity so you and your partner can ask yourselves a bunch of random questions. It’s fun! I’ve tried it and it helped us get to know new things about each other. You can buy it on Amazon.

3. Watch Anime on Netflix, Hulu Or Crunchyroll

I recommend watching HUNTERxHUNTER, Black Butler, Deadman Wonderland, Assassination Classroom Soul Eater and Fairy Tale. These are a few of my favorites.

4. Write In Your Journal

This is one way you can write down everything that’s going on in your life, your goals, your feelings, etc.

5. Go For A Walk

Yeah, don’t walk in places like this. This is NOT okay!

It can be a walk around your local park, the mall,  a walk around the block, or even try to find a track to walk around. You can walk anywhere. Not only will it kill your boredom, but it will also serve as exercise.

*Bonus:

Spend some time reading my blogs including my previous on “When Life Gives You Lemons” or you can read my featured article for the Voyage Houston Magazine. You’ll definitely be entertained.

Even if these 5 ways to kill boredom are not your cup of tea, you can try other activities to kill your boredom. Just murder it with productivity because “An idle mind is the devil’s playground” and none of us want to end up doing something that will ruin our lives. That is IF we live depending on what we do. I am very interested in knowing what other people do to kill boredom. Let me know in the comments.
