Just Because It Looks Easy Doesn’t Mean It’s For You

Today’s lesson is “Just because it looks easy for someone else; doesn’t mean it will be easy for you!”

We’re all guilty of this. We’ll see someone working on something and we’ll be like “pssssh, I can do that” and then we find ourselves trying it and failing epically.

This also ties in to small business. Support your local business owners and artists. We spend so much time, effort and money learning our craft. We may make it look easy sometimes but that is because our movements begin to flow like a river when we’re doing our crafts that we have spent so much time perfecting.

Pay these people what they’re worth. Stop trying to undercut people because you don’t want to pay them. Especially your friends and family. If you’ll pay someone else full price for them to do the same thing, why not go to your friend or family member first. They are not your last resort when others do not come through.

We all want to be good at something but nobody is good at EVERYTHING. Even if you are an overachiever like somebody I know. Some people are just lucky like that, I guess. But guess what? This same person will still support others even when they are able to do it their self because they know what it takes to make things happen.

Just because it LOOKS like someone is coasting through life, doesn’t mean that they’re not being attacked in the background. It may look like everything is peaches and cream but on the inside they’re scratching for are because they’re overwhelmed with so much.

Don’t confuse someone’s purpose with your own just because it looks all shiny to you. Y’all don’t share the same purpose nor do you share the same struggle. Leave it for who it’s meant for. Your time is coming and you will receive everything that you deserve. You’ll receive everything that is tailored just for you and it will be you that makes it look easy to others.
