As I approach the 9th month of my pregnancy, I begin to think about that hospital bag that I’ve been attempting to pack for the past two months but have yet to get started on. I know I need to stop playing before I end up having to send my Fiance back to the house to try and gather random things in a panic. Although, it WOULD be a sight to see. I won’t do that to him. I’ll get to packing this week. Well, I’ll begin packing but I won’t make any promises!

Here is a list of 10 of the best gifts for expecting moms, that you could give from one of my favorite stores. If you want to be a kindhearted individual which you should want to be, you should pick up something from this lift. I recommend the moms pack some of these things in their hospital bag. I know I will!

1. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Complete Stretch Mark Kit

When I had my son, I started using a Cocoa Butter stick and Palmer’s Stretch Mark Lotion which really helped my stretch marks become a lot less noticeable. This time I decided Palmer’s was the way to go! It feels good and smells good too. I should know, I just tried a new sample the other day and it was great.

2. Tony & Candice Women’s Classic Satin Pajama Set

This can be used after delivery or during pregnancy. It makes breastfeeding a lot easier. The satin material also makes it easy to slide in and out of the bed. During my pregnancy, getting out of bed has been extremely painful but satin really makes things a little easier. The best part is when you are postpartum and you decide to go sliding across the bed like a penguin just because you can be on your stomach again. I shall be doing this in a few weeks.

3. Prime Membership

Being able to receive your package in 1 or 2 days (Depending on the product) is the best feeling ever in life. Not only that, this gift gives your giftee access to TV Shows, Movies, Music, and more. Amazon Prime is pretty awesome. I remember during my college days I used to have multiple Amazon packages waiting for me at the bookstore every day. I was very addicted.

4. Baby Milestone Age Blocks | Natural Solid Wood | Days, Weeks, Months, Years | Newborn Gender Neutral (Boy or Girl)

Taking pictures of your child during the first few weeks, first 12 months and every year afterward are pretty common. The age blocks make for a nice portrait prop when recording these milestones. I know I’m going to have fun with these!

5. You’re Doing a Great Job!: 100 Ways You’re Winning at Parenting

There will come a time where parents will need a reminder that they are doing a great job, regardless of whether they agree or not. This book will help them during those times. Believe me, we all go through it but having support makes it a lot easier to deal with.

6. ChongErfei 3 in 1 Postpartum Support Recovery Belly Wrap Waist/Pelvis Belt Body Shaper

I used a belly wrap when I had my son. I was afraid that my guts would fall out if I didn’t (Don’t judge me, I know I’m not alone). This thing not only helps keep your guts from falling out but it helps to shrink your uterus back down to size which helps to slim the waistline. They will only wear it for about a month or so (some may wear it longer) but it is well worth the purchase.

7. Your Baby in Pictures: The New Parents’ Guide to Photographing Your Baby’s First Year

I recommend hiring a professional photographer but I know that’s not always in the budget. I’ve never done a newborn baby session before so once the baby is born, she will be my little model. I tried to use my dog but she moves too much. This book is for those moms who prefer to or have to DIY their baby’s pics. Again, if you (or rather… they) can afford it, just hire a professional.

8. Pearhead First 5 Years Chevron Baby Memory Book with Clean-Touch Baby Safe Ink Pad to Make Baby’s Hand or Footprint Included, Gray

I made the mistake of not recording the first 5 years of my son’s life in a book. I have collected pictures and still have his newborn hospital band but that’s about it. This is a gift that will keep on giving for years to come. It will eventually be packed with memories from the baby’s first 5 years of life.

9. Vive Suction Cup Reacher Grabber – 32″ Heavy Duty Mobility Grip Hand Aid

She will need one of these to wack her older kids with*….. Just Kidding…. Or am I? (*Disclosure: Please do not abuse kids with this product. I am not liable for the pain and suffering that will ensue). This device does make it easier to reach the remote, baby diaper changing products, as well as that chip that feels out of your reach that you know you’ll still eat.

10. Lansinoh Lanolin Nipple Cream for Breastfeeding

This is a life saver for real! As much as some of you don’t want to hear this, a woman’s nipples will become chapped when they’re breastfeeding. Grow up and accept it. Or in this case, buy it for an expecting mom who will love you forever for buying this stuff.

Bonus Gift:

Cricut Explore Air 2 Machine Bundle Iron On Vinyl Pack Tools Pen Design Beginner Guide

This is a bonus gift because it is THE MOST expensive. There is a reason for that. With this gift, the expecting mom will be able to customize her own products for her and baby, including T-shirts, Bibs, Onesies, Pants, Shorts, Cups, Bottles, or whatever her heart desires.
