Today’s Lesson of The Day is “It’s all fun and games until the Victim becomes the VICTOR!

*Trigger Warning* Sexual Assault Awareness

As some of you may know, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Every time April rolls around, I begin to think about my personal past with Sexual Assault and how it affected me. I still struggle with it to this day but my experiences have made me stronger. Colder in some areas but stronger nonetheless.

There are people who will deliberately target you and try to break you down. They see you as an easy target and will try to make you a victim.

Here’s the kicker though! You are still here. You are not alone. You are a VICTOR not a victim. You have achieved so many things in spite of someone trying to destroy you. It’s so amazing to see the greatness that has come out of adversity.

Take those bad experiences and use them to help lift yourself and others up. Tell your story. Help someone else get through what you’ve already gotten through. Hold your head up and be proud of who you are.

For those who will or have attempted to victimize others, good luck. It’s only a matter of time before you meet your match and I mean that in the most loving way possible 😏.

For those of you who are THE VICTORS, THE WARRIORS, THE UNSTOPPABLES, keep it going. It’s up to make a change!
